Messiah Fellowship Bible Church
Stratford, OK
Messiah Fellowship is a small church with a large vision to win souls for our Lord Jesus Christ. Our goal is to glorify our Father in heaven and enjoy Him forever as the old Westminster confession states ” Man’s chief purpose is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever”.
We try to achieve this goal through our Sunday Morning Bible Study and through singing praises to our Lord. Our ultimate time of worship comes through the preaching of God’s Holy Word; we approach this by preaching through one book of the Bible at a time, applying these truths to our daily lives.
We also have topical studies and video series on Thursday nights that are helpful to new believers and old.
We are here to serve the body of Christ, in Stratford and the surrounding area. We would like to invite you to come and join us. It is our fervent prayer that God would motivate us to achieve these goals out of a genuine love for Himself and others (Matthew 22:37-39).
The vision of this body of believers is contained in Colossians 1:28, ”And we proclaim [Christ]; admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, that we may present every man complete in Christ.”

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Messiah Outreach Ministries Inc. was founded in 1993 with the express purpose of bringing sound biblical teaching and preaching to the inmates in our Oklahoma prison system. In our efforts to do this, we have become even more aware of the desperate need for sound teaching there. Thus far, this has lead us to commit to ministering in 5 local prisons, Lexington Assessment and Reception Center, Joseph Harp Correction Center, Davis Correction Center, Great Plains Correction Facility (temporarily closed), Oklahoma State Reformatory on a regular basis, preaching at one prison every Sunday morning, teaching Bible studies/preaching at others on Saturday nights and Wednesday nights, we also sponsor a Cross Tv Video class with the help of Cross TV and conduct a 24 week in-depth discipleship courses (one session every other week) at Oklahoma State Reformatory. This gives us a wonderful chance to work one on one with the inmates. While sharing with these inmates, we noticed the real need for good study bibles and other related material. We have endeavored to provide as much good quality inspirational reading and teaching material as possible. Unfortunately, this task is made more difficult due to the influence of so many false religions in the prison system and the overwhelming amount of material that they can provide. This abundance of material provided by the cults, charismatic and word faith movement etc. far outweighs anything that could be considered biblical. Up to this point in time, we have done our best to supply the needed material without asking for help outside our local fellowship. But the need has far outgrown our financial ability to afford on our own, so we need your help. If you would please prayerfully consider this great need, it would be very much appreciated. Thank you, so very much.
Soli Deo Gloria!
In Christ’s Service,
Robert Lee Chandler
